  1. Well, the reason I had done this was that sometimes during flight a device will change IDs "randomly". So this was really a prevention of it passing errors when flying, because the device usually respawns to create this ID change. I'll try and sneak the registering of this event in after the ship loads to prevent hangs.

    Edit: Yeh, that worked there is no more hanging in my version; I'll post this up later, and I still need to update the Circular form to the new version.

  2. The problem with the ShipHUD add-on was more related to the fact that the developers supposedly made events non-functional but still included them in the API with no replacement events. They're even still in the 3.0 API that you linked. So when I checked for changes to the API that would cause the add-on to break, there was nothing new to see. The add-on should work now, without error; hopefully.

    Apparently I'm not allowed to post add-ons on these forums, because I'm a stupid, bull-headed Amerikosi who is never ever allowed to make a mistake or typo in my add-ons. I also am expected to keep up with all the RU API changes, even the ones on the test realm, because obviously I have access to the RU servers; right?

    I was completely unaware of the errors related to ShipHUD, and was -not- informed of its non-functionality by the RU users; but some how I'm expected to know the extent of the damage through some sort of magic.

    That's what the EVENT_SECOND_TIMER addresses. EVENT_SHIP_DAMAGE_RECEIVED only works when the ship receives or dishes out damage, but if you repair the ship after a fight, you won't see any device change; and then you'd be back again with your "You destroyed my culture you American imbecile, get out of these Russian forums! We don't like your kind here!" which I've had nothing to do with.

  5. The version I sent is the Circular version which has been posted and updated along side the normal add-on for some time. (It is the version that I use personally.)

    I'm sorry to hear that the add-on is not working with the fixes I implemented. In all honesty, it is not -my- fault that the developers removed the only health events that this add-on can use. I will try to create a simple second timer fix to distribute.

    You are by far the rudest human being I have ever met on the internet. So congratulations on that prize; it used to be held by a six year old.

    Our cultural differences have nothing to do with this add-on, nor should they, but yet you keep treating me like a lesser human being because you have some ridiculous stereotype about me as a singular -person-.

    You should also keep in mind Asika that this forum is for the Addons Developer Community; there is no specification to what culture is permitted.

  6. You do realize that I don't own a boat on the RU client; nor can I actually test this add-on on your client due to the NA IP blocks the developers have instated, if I did? So your repeated comments about how I have failed to update the add-on to your satisfaction merit nothing; I cannot work with something I cannot physically test without there being errors. This add-on was not developed for you specifically and I'm sorry that you "fixed" the add-on yet are unwilling to share this fix with the rest of the community through your blind arrogance.

    Next time you want to post a comment like your repeated "Amerikosi" and worse derogatory conjecture, think about how many languages I have to translate my add-ons into for them to be "acceptable" in this environment and how I have to work blind with code that I can't test. Then think about how hypocritical you are as a human-being to make this so-called "fix" and then keep it to yourself. Perhaps -you- should have thought of the add-on in the first place rather than stealing someone else's work and touching it up and feeling accomplished.

    Stop hiding behind a forum account you made to deliberately attack me and my add-ons.

  7. Asika, I have deleted your posts due to their constant rude commentary. I will work on the new Health events, as I was uninformed of their existence; and it saddens me greatly that you had to so rudely express these changes.

    As far as I can see in the API is that these events still exist, if they were made non-functional than you should have started by telling me that rather that insulting me; because I do not see new health events to take their place.

    Edit: I'll test changing the events to ship damage related..

  8. And you blame my add-on for messing up the "other" add-on?

    There are plenty of add-ons that conflict. KillKompass disables the POI add-on which is necessary for almost all marker/detector related objects.

    PLATES requires the existence of the Buff state managed add-ons.

    TargetsManager apparently hijacks the class plate add-ons and Plates add-on which then breaks if any other add-on tries to use them.

    There are plenty of conflicts out there.

  9. The object.AddToProjected function has always been only available to objects that are recognized by the Detectors. These include astral monsters (look at the add-on AMIT), quest/vendor NPCs, group/raid members, detected devices, so on..

    This function has never included enemy/friendly players.

    This is due to the projectedInfo being usable to check real ranges.

    As for your 2d/3d widget problem, it would seem there is some invisible panel in the way. Perhaps some priority adjustments might fix this?
